A Purim Celebration &
Fundraiser for Houseless Portlanders
Saturday, March 19th, 7pm
We are taking COVID very seriously at this event: Proof of vaccination along with ID and a mask are required to enter. We will have a heated and roomy covered outdoor space. The inside space is a large room with an entire garage-door style wall open to the outside. Thanks for celebrating in safe style with us!
Co/Lab and The Alberta Shul aim to maximize both the outrageous fun and the righteous giving of Purim. OutRighteous indeed.
With a drag/comedy variety show, plenty of music, food and drink, and even a parade, we’re getting ready to raise the bar on Portland’s Purim season. This pull-out-the stops, over-the-top, City-wide Purim party to raise money for a local organization that serves Portland’s houseless population.
Kids are welcome at this event but a couple of things parents should know. Alcohol will be served. We are not planning kids activities and after 8:30pm things will move in a PG-13 direction. Music and costumes will make this a blast for all. Parents: we trust your judgement.
We have an incredible venue chosen, a restored warehouse space in Portland (address available upon registration). The space allows for cross ventilation and we’ll have a large, heated tent space outside as well.
Even thought the Oregon mask mandate ends the day of our event, masks and proof of vaccination are required to attend this event
